Hi right away thanks for any help, first off, here are my specs

    Jetway PM800BMS
    Intel 4 540 3.2G
    1024 ddr-400 ram
Sony 16X DVD-R/+RW DVD Burner Drive
    56k pci rockwell modem
    WD Caviar 160 g HD
    Integrate S3 Graphics UniChrome Pro
VIA VT6103L 10/100 Fast Ethernet controller (disabled)
    WinXP SP2

I installed a USB 2.0 & IEEE 1394 combo card and upon reboot, my system freezes. I am not sure of the brand name i think it's... "dtech"?

XP automatically installed the drivers and when I tried to update the drivers from the cd given it says it already has newest installed.

Any help you can give is appreciated.

sounds like a resource problem. pull the card and boot up then look at the system log and see what that tells ya.

It won't let me into the log.

I have reseated the card and tried to change IRQ but it wont allow me too. It's gray'ed out.
