First time overclocker...need help please

heatsink and fan to cool it with. what do you reckon is the best safe speed i can get out of my processor without it overheating? many thanks, jack

Secound what temps are you running now ??
and third what are the stock settings... fsb ( HTT in your case ), cpu core, and Vcore?

 

hi. its running at around 40degrees (c). the htt is at 220.4mhz. the core speed is now at 2204mhz. i have overclocked it from 2.0ghz to 2.2ghz as you can tell but i am wondering what is the potential i can get out of it. please reply, thanks, jack

 

Are you overvolting ??? The only way to see how fast it will run is to try ... Every CPU overclockes dif...
