Flash and Java won't download

I followed the instructions to eliminate malware, which worked great. Now I can't get Java, flash, adobe to work even after successful downloads. What did I do wrong ?

 

Uninstall all previous flash

install new flash player for IE
http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/6693/

install new flash player for non-IE
http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_firefox/6694/

 

Tried that. No help. Are autoruns and extentions disabled from a step in the malware section ? Do they need to be enabled and how do I do that ?

 

Give dialafix a try. I routinely run after malware removal.
If this doesn't do it, run a System File Check.

 

I'm having the same problem. Where do I get dialafix?

 

I cannot even download dialafix in order to seach for the problem.

 

I cannot even uninstall the old flash players it says: unable to download uninstall_flash player_exe from Download Macromedia.
Unable to open this internet site.

 

rgmcollector, welcome but please do not hijack a thread. Start a new thread for your problem. It is also not a good idea to dredge up an old thread unless you have a solution.

Flash is now owned by Adobe not macromedia, so any attempt to remove/uninstall flash needs to be found at the Adobe site.
