I know there's Flash Catcher for IE, but by any chance has anyone come across a Flash movie downloader for Firefox? (In other words, right-click a Flash movie and you can save it locally.)

To my knowledge, there is no extension that will allow you to simply right click and download a flash object, but firefox actually COMES equiped with the ability to download and save flash objects. When you are at the page containing the flash object you wish to save, click Tools > Page Info > Select the Media Tab. Scroll throught the list and find the flash object you are looking for (a flash object will typically end with ".swf" and, _i think_ always contains those characters somewhere). In the "type" column it will say "embed." In the "media preview" box you will see a little broken image. All together, it should appear like so:

Click "Save As" and you're in business. You can open and view these objects with your browser, whether or not you have a live internet connection.
