    Hello,

So yesterday I started having issues with my internet. I can no longer access google, gmail, facebook or youtube. Attempting to go to any of these sites will either result in a "this web page is not available" or a notification pop up box saying:

"The page at youtube.com says: WARNING! Your Flash Player may be out of date. Please update to continue" which regardless of what I click will then redirect me to a download page for Flash Player Pro (not the adobe software but a fake looking very similar). NOTE: I have not downloaded it, it isn't installed, it is just continually popping up and I suspect it is the reason behind the internet problems.

I've tried loading other search sites (bing), social networking (instagram, pinterest), and tube sites (daily motion) which all appear to work fine.

As I'm getting a new laptop and handing this one on to my sister, I moved all my programs and files onto an external hard drive and performed a factory reset hoping it would solve the problem and I could then just use it for internet until I buy a new laptop.

After deleting all the crap bloatware I continued using it for the day and it worked fine. That is, until this morning when it has gone back to the exact same situation where the malevolent Flash Player Pro popups have begun and I can't access any of the sites again.

I am wondering if it may have to do with my google account being logged in?
I use google Chrome as my default browser but I have also tested it out with firefox and got the same results. The only chrome extension I have is google docs.

I've followed the exact steps set out in the sticky and have attached the required logs.

Thanks in advance for any help someone may be able to shine on this situation.

Not seeing ANY malware so far, but the MGTools did not run correctly.

Please click Start, Run, and enter cmd and click OK. This will open a command prompt window. Enter the below commands at the command prompt each followed by the enter key. The bold black are commands. The purple is merely informational.

    • cd \MGtools <-- this changes to the MGtools folder and the prompt should change to C:\MGtools>
    • nwktst<-- this will try to run all one scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.
    • GRK64 <-- this will try to run all one scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.
    • SN64 <-- this will try to run all another scan from MGtools. Tell me what error messages, if any, you see.
    Attach the MGlogs.zip.
