FLASH PLAYER Malware / Virus ??

I have a Windows 7 computer and use firefox 28.0 as my browser and since the last update I have a few applications running on Windows TaskManager called " FlashPlayerPlugin_11_9_900_152.exe*32 " And it is constantly sapping between 200 MB to 1.7 GB of my memory. My whole computer is running slower in every aspect, not just the internet browser. I think I may have other malware or issues going on. Can you advise anything ? Thank you

OK thanks, I will run those scans. Do you have any thoughts on why FlashPlayerPlugin_ is using up such an inordinate amount of memory and if that can be fixed ?

Not really. Could just be an issue with Firefox. Need logs to be able to rule out malware. Perhaps you should look at links like below:
