Font Disappears after reboot

    Had trouble getting this right with advice on editing the font properties and more until I found the solution. I am sharing it here with others who need the same help.

    Not sure if it helps but my font didn't have an extension so I added .otf to the file name.

    Then:

    1. Click Start, type fonts and hit Enter to open Fonts. (Control panel, fonts optionally)
    2. In the left pane, click Font settings.
    3. Un-check the Hide fonts based on language settings check box.
    4. Click OK

    Reboot.
