format hard drive

    i think i did something stupid..i have a 80 gig hard drive.20 gig partitioned ...now how do i get the other 60 gig....there is no other drives on my computer

    xp pro..p4 2.4

    go into control panel admin tools choose computer managment choose disk management and the unformatted space should show up right click on it and choose formatt. post back if any trouble

    I usually run my os on a different partion than where i keep all my stored info. So the os does not get bogged down

    windows 98 dose not suport or recognise NTFS partitions .....try reformating it or ...beter......install win xp +sp1
