Free (Avira) AntiVir Ending (?)

    Msg window on startup says "License runs off"....check with free-av.com to renew, but there's no way to do so without coughing up some $. Support link doesn't work except to say how much per minute.
    Please verify & get out the word if confirmed.

    I would do the below in the following order:

    1) Download the current version of the program
    2) Disconnect your cable to the internet
    3) Uninstall the old version
    4) Reboot
    5) Install the new version
    6) Plug in your cable to the internet and get all updates.

    See if that helps.
