Free Avira Doesn't Do Certain Scans

    In Avira > System Scanner, Scan removable drives doesn't work, and clicking Manual Selection or Scan for Rootkits and active malware gives the error "Control Center has stopped working". Is this simply because I have the free version of Avira?

    No it shouldn't matter try uninstalling avira and download it again and install

    Sorry, my bad, those options DON'T work when you left-click them, but they work when you right-click them and then click Start scan (admin).
