free file viewer

I'm trying to find a universal file viewer that also covers files like .js.

 

Can you provide a list of the files you would like to view?
*.js are JScript files that can be opened in Notepad.

 

Sorry for the delayed response. My computer life went on without me. It's helpful to know the .js files can be opened in Notepad.

 

I went into our 4 Windows computers yesterday and made sure all js and jse files open using Notepad as the default.

To change default programs inWin 7, click on the orb and in the right column select Default Programs. Then select the 2nd entry: Associate a file type or protocol with a program. Wait while all the file extensions load and look over the list as to what is the default for .js and .jse files.
