Free imaging making software?

I know this has probably been posted atleast once before but i didn't look hard for it so...I would like anyone who knows any good imaging making software that is free ,please, to post the link to the page her please. I will be happy if anyone can help me.

here i will try to explain. Well you know the avatar you use or a banner made to put in someone's signature, right? That kind of image creating shall we say. Is that alittle better?

 

Sounds like your looking for graphics creating software.... try Ultimate Paint, mtPaint, or PaintDotNet... I know Ultimate Paint is available here, and I think mtPaint is available here also. PaintDotNet has been described as the 'freeware version of PhotoShop'. Don't quote me as I personally have never used PaintDotNet. Just Google it and you should have no problems finding and downloading it............
