I started to fill it out, but I'm not interested in signing up with any sponsor.

    Sorry.

Thanks Adrynalyne. What is the catch with a "sponsor". I couldn'tget that far as it is for USA only. Bazza

You have to sign up with BMG, columbia house, etc.

There are also some weight loss things, and other junk like that.

Thanks again. Guess it proves the saying "If it looks too good to be true, then it usually is".

Logging off now to go to Rusty's Bazaar Sunday markets. Some MG'ers have probably been there for fruit and vegs in Central Cairns. Thanks for trying. Bazza

Keep an eye on Office max, a lot of times they will do rebate sales on sun. in their newspaper handout and on the website. and a lot of the time they have stuff thats for free after rebates which is sweet. CD burners, remotes, packs of Cd's, ram, i even got norton there once.

    Just a Note,
OfficeMax is the worst company to deal with reguarding rebates.
Out of six rebates applied for in the last 18 months, every single one was trouble, two of them over year old still no money, the others after complaining to the store manager I was given store credit (yep! store credit, no check), Now I just avoid Officemax, THEY SUCK!

One of the best retailers to deal with reguarding Rebates is Office Depot!

Office depot usually has really good deals also, but no freebies.

Thanks guys for the replies but I am in OZ so newspapers, fliers are hard to come by. I could check their sites but money is in short supply, at present.

The original advert on the site quoted earlier promised Norton's for free, on that day.

Adrynalyne pointed out the "gotcha" so that ended that. Bazza

I just thought I would mention, if any of you guys work at any major computer store, you can get free Norton software with no catch at:

    http://www.retailaccess.com/

Proof of employment at an electronics store is necessary...actually you could work for pretty much anyplace that sells computers or computer stuff...I work at Circuit City and have gotten multiple copies of Norton AntiVirus, Internet Security, and SystemWorks.
