Free Symantec and Pest Patrol

I don’t know how many people this will apply to, but if anybody is an employee of the Department of the Army (either a Soldier or DoD civilian) you are eligible for Symantec anti virus, Symantec Fire wall, and Pest Patrol anti spyware via your AKO account. This is Symantec, not commercial Norton’s. It is top of the line stuff, the same thing the Feds use, best of all its free. Just a little perk (but not well known) for being a federal employee.

 

Nice to know AMH to many people just take our Federal employees for granted, nice to see someone appreciates the effort they make. Symantec is not universally loved by some here at MG, but others I am sure will be glad to hear what you have said, Thanks
