Clearwater, Florida - A Bayside High School student has been arrested and charged with computer fraud after Pinellas deputies say he accessed the district's computer server and changed students' grades.

Brennen Browder, 17, was arrested on Thursday, after his teacher discovered the crime. According to deputies, Browder had stolen the password of his teacher, David Cross, by watching him type it into his computer during class.

Browder then used his home laptop to access the system and repeatedly change grades, as well as granting himself and three other students approval of class tests, which they had not taken.

Tomoka Correctional Institution officials said Richard Williams, 43, sped off on the mower when his supervisor's back was turned.
The officer quickly called the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. A deputy spotted Williams about 10 minutes later. He was still riding the mower. :-D

Williams was taken into custody and charged with escape.

Investigation shows elevated levels of lead in grocery bags

Tribune tests showed certain bags from Winn-Dixie and Publix stores had levels of lead that concerned health officials. And some bags had enough lead that they could be considered hazardous waste if residents put them in their household trash.

This follows a similar issue that led the Northern grocer Wegmans to voluntarily exchange thousands of their bags.

Publix officials stress that their bags comply with current federal laws regarding lead content. But given the Tribune findings, and lower thresholds due next year, Publix is asking bag suppliers to find ways to make bags with less lead.

Cleanmem works in a matter of about 5 sec. It uses a windows api call that is in Windows 2000,xp,2003,Vista & 2008 that tells windows to cleanup the workspace of a processes thus freeing up any memory the process no longer needs. Other memory cleaners end up forcing the memory into the page file slowing down your system. This tool does not. The API call frees up unused memory from programs, when a program needs the memory again it can simply take it back instead of forcing the memory out of ram and into the page file.

A good example is this, say you have quickbooks installed and setup for multi user mode. The quickbooks service takes 37mb of memory just sitting there! when cleanmem is ran it uses only 600kb and wont grow again until it actually is used. The same goes for all processes.

Silicon Republic reports that Microsoft has said that using the Chevron WP7 unlock tool could result in phones being rendered "permanently unusable."

ChevronWP7 was recently released that allows owners to unlock their Windows Phone 7 handsets in order to load home-made applications.
The tool fools the phone into registering it as a developer device with the application as opposed to with Microsoft.

Usually, Microsoft charges US$99 a year to develop apps on the mobile OS.
