    Hi,

I got a thread in the GAMES FORUM but no one replied. I think now that its best in this forum...

Anyways, whenever I create a Server in UT2004 using my BELKIN ADSL modem with built-in wireless router, people can't to connect to it. However, if I create a server using my Modem (supplied by my ISP) than people can connect - no problem.

The server with the router can only be accessed by me through the LAN...how can I get around this?

Any help is appreciated, Thanks :)

You need to setup your router so that people on the net can access it.

Set internal ip address on the server yourself.
    192.168.1.110
then go on to your router and give access to that port .....UDP/TCP
DMZ server what ever IP number you set the server to.

    Block WAN Request: disabled
    Multicast Pass Through: enabled

    PORT RANGE FORWARDING
Forwarding port range 0-max (unless you are using one port RTCW 27960)
    Forwarding port range 27960-27960

    Customized Applications.......Ext.Port.....Protocol...Protocol......IP Address
    .........................................................TCP.........UDP
    Game server........................0-0...........enable...................192.168.1.110 enable
    Game server........................0-0..........................enable....192.168.1.110 enable

    DYNAMIC ROUTING gateway

    STATIC ROUTING
    Static Routing:192.168.1.110 (Select Route entry)
    Destination LAN IP: 192.168.1.110
    Subnet Mask:255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (router default)
    Hop Count 1
    (Metric, max. is 15):
    interface: LAN

    DMZ HOST
DMZ Host IP Address: 192.168.1.110 (game server IP that you made)

    That should do it

Hey Beast, I appreciate your help but good news is that I got it sorted.

I decided to phone BELKIN Tech Support and they told me that I needed to open the port of the Game Server (UT2004) on the router. After, searching a while looking for the port number, I found it. And, all is good :)

    Thanks again :)
