Gaming Friendly Firewall and Antivirus?

As the title suggests im looking for both that will be of good use while gaming! Had a search and couldnt find too much

well, i'm not saying that zonealarm is the best firewall by any means, but it does have a nifty little setting called game mode which allows all permissions for while you are playing games... flipside is, it allows all permissions, so you are at risk, but honestly, i wouldn't worry too much unless you are high risk. hmmm... that help at all? rolleyes

 

sorry was looking more for performance wise, both in terms of using little system resources and little lag online. I used zone alarm for a while but never bothered with that game mode setting

 

oh well in that case... forget software! Go with a hardware firewall. Definitely the best bet IMO.

 

Zone Alarm AVG are both free and on my systems I cannot tell they are running.
No difference in frame rate or latency in WOW or Counterstrike.
