gaming ram question

I heard cruical was the fastest ram there is,then it goes OCZ gold then im stuck with the love for the gaming ram corsair....I have no clue if cruical/ocz are even gaming ram and thats where im stuck.


If u were me and were gonna spend 300 bucks to spend on ram what would u rather buy.

Anyways, since its a new system im assuming its DDR2. I believe that both Crucial Ballistix and Corsair Dominator ram are the fastest out there at the moment, IIRC PC8000? I personally have the Crucial Ballistix DDR pc3200 and it runs fine at pc4100 speeds @ 2.5-3-3-6 timings. I know for a fact that Crucial memory overclocks like crazy, not sure about this new Dominator RAM but it looks promising. I dunno anything about OCZ memory though lol

EDIT: just checked, Crucial has PC8000, Corsair has PC8888.
