Gamma Issues

    I'm trying to play an old DOS game (Warcraft I) and am having problems with the brightness of the game. Basically, I can't see much. I've got the gamma on my video card settings up, but it only gives me options for "Desktop" settings and "Full 3D" settings, and this game is nither. I do have an old monitor, bout 3-4 years old, but besides getting a new one is there any way i can fix this? If it helps, I have a RADEON 9000 series card.
