Anyone have a procedure for discovering what is the purpose of a server? I have a server at a location that no one really knows what it is used for besides a file server... NT4 & it looks like it has SQL running too. It is on 2-20GB SCSI drives and I want to move it to newer hardware by means of a rebuild. How can I find out what I need to know to move the SQL and any other services it my provide?
