Can anyone recommend a good freeware backup program? I have an external HD and a second HD in my CPU so space isn't an issue. Am using retrospect 5.6 but interface is too complicated. Need a simple interface. Would like automation feature.
    Thanks

i think the most easy way is to use windows backup utility - NTbackup.

and for 3d party progs, sometime ago i came across the link where you can download the free true image 7th version, but now i can't find it, may be someone can resember.

I like SyncBack... Refreshingly easy to use, and I thought I saw a scheduler in there somewhere.

Good thinking, I forgot about the Free older version of True Image ( I use the Full Version 10 so discounted True Image as viable )

But our good mate Matacumbie listed the Free Version of True Image 7 here http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=105810 but sadly the free offer has expired.
