Google Chrome 46.0.2490.71 Final

This statement at the bottom of today's front page posts for Google Chrome Final. Please excuse my ignorance but what does that mean? They don't want to be associated anymore? I don't understand. :confused

 

It means Google doesn't want websites like MajorGeeks to host it's programs. Adobe has done the same. We have to visit their websites do download their programs. Just 1 reason I don't use anything from Google.

BTW Last night I was googling while using Ixquick. Apparently Google doesn't like this... bring it on. I live in Africa... never get into a pi$$ing contest with an elephant. I have only 2 words for companies like Google. The first 1 starts with the letter F...

 

Thanks for the explanation Eldon....That's pretty arrogant of them I think. Makes no sense to me.
