Google doesn't remember

Hello all, yesterday I did a fresh install of my windows XP pro. and when I googled for the first time I accidentally said no to google/windows remembering my queries and now I'm stuck typing everthing over and over again. Does anyone know how to reverse this mistake?
In simpler terms, how do I make Google auto complete my queries again?

It's actually an option within Internet Explorer.

Tools>Internet Options>Content>Autocomplete>select the options you want.
