google toolbar or yahoo?

    which one is best for pop-up blocking for IE.

    if you get SP2 and all the security updates there will be a pop up blocker installed already. I would recommend migrating to Opera 8.5 (or 9) or Firefox...

    goto www.getfirefox.com or www.opera.com to get 'em. they are much better and more secure than IE

    jak3y, I use Google toolbar and find it's adblocking pretty good.

    yes firefox is great but keep in mind this is for an elderly lady...so my thing is if she ever visits a site that requires a plug-in, she'll be lost as to what to do next...so i guess ill leave it for now as it is...maybe google, thanks guys.

    Google toolbar would be very simple for her.

    When you want a pop up to display, you just hold down the Ctrl key.

    It also has form filling, search bar, translator, and spell-check.
