I'm usually not this careless. I clicked on a link in an email from a "friend" before I realized that the actual sender was not my friend. I restarted, disconnected from the internet and ran a full Windows defender scan which showed no threats. But that's not what RogueKiller shows. I'm very worried and will be grateful for help. I followed all of the Read Me instructions and have attached logs.

Not finding any malware in your logs. You can have ADWCleaner remove what it found. Otherwise, your logs are clean.

    Are you having any issues?

My biggest issue is that I've been worried that my info has been invaded and that another phishing email will get blasted out to all of my contacts or I'll get WannaCry ransomware or worse. But your review is great news. Is that review likely to catch anything evil that was installed on my PC? Are there any other tests I should do? Is it possible that the link I clicked on was actually innocuous?

I will be making a report to the FTC via spam [at] uce [dot] gov and via reportphishing [at] apwg [dot] org next. Meanwhile I have reconnected my PC to the internet and it seems to be working normally.

I think your initial response was the correct one.

Since you are not having any malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8 or 10, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
