It could be the your have been impacted by running HSremove. We have learned that it removes some of your Startup programs. Perhaps you need to look at which O4 lines you have now and which ones where in an older log, so you can add back in some missing required startups.

By the way DIGStream is on my list of things not to have but that's up to you. See this link and scroll down to Digstream: http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist_d.htm

Its really strange, it did jack my home page and all, but the tools cleaned that up, but the background (wall paper) is jacked. You can see at the very top edge of my screen and the very bottom edge of the screen where this is laying ontop of back ground..... when you change back ground wallpaper, you can see that it changes ...but the hijacked page still covers.....its all black with an ad for some hijacking software ........

Providing a name would be more useful than just saying an ad for some hijacking software.

Does this problem happen if you are not connected to the internet? I don't know if you are always connected (i.e., cable modem, DSL, etc or dialup). If it happens even when not connected you may want to try running CrapCleaner to get rid of lots of local garbage: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4191.html
