Guide - When Win7 Updates Are Not Applying Anymore

    I created this guide after running into this issue at work where I had to do a clean install of Windows 7 from a disk that did not include SP1, and then had to deal with the daunting task of applying a metric ton of updates.

    Also, this is a great guide for those who may look at their Windows Update section and see that maybe updates have not been applied in a very long time, but when you run the update check, it fails, or just keeps searching and searching. This most notably started happening around April 2015, so if you look at your Windows Update, and it shows a date around that time that they were last applied, then this guide is for you.
