GUIs are white

I don't know if it's the right place to post this as I have no idea what causes the problem



I've been having some regions on certain GUIs that are all white for some reason. The region in catalyst control center where there's an add : it's been all white for months. But now I have other softwares whose GUIs have regions which are all white so I can't see .




SPECS :
sony VAIO vpcea
8 gb ram
Win 7 pro 64bit
ATI radeon HD 5470

have an idea what causes this?

 

ok here it is:




you can see for the advanced system care window: the "quick care" window on the left window is fine, but when i choose deep care , i get the white region. there are 4 big icons there normally. I can still click on the now invisible icons and i'll get to another window.

the control catalyst window should have an ad in the middle instead of a big white square.
