    Win 7/8 users can uninstall this now but just out of interest I'm going to leave it be for a while on my one Win 8.1 system. You can never be certain with M$ ;)

    I'm actually NOT running GWX Control Panel on my 8.1 Core partition. I've just been making sure to keep KB3035583 at bay any time it comes up (and it has come up more often than just Patch Tuesdays). There's been no sign of Win 10 creeping in although, I've got Win 10 Pro and Win 10 Insider Preview on two other partitions already.
