Hard Disk not found during windows Installation

    :confused Toshiba M400 and need to install a fresh copy of windows on it.
    Im haveing a problem installing it after the windows installation disk reaches the point were you partition the drive or select the drive to install windows
    theres no drive to install it but there is a 100mb sata drive there I tryed vista, windows XP, linux nothing works. what do I need to do to get the pc/windows to see a hard disk?
    Toshiba Portege M400 Tablet Laptop

    When you first start the installation..you have the option to install additional drivers for sata...do so.
