I have a DiamondMax hard drive that I am trying to install on my PC as a slave drive. The BIOS detects it but it tells me that it is capable but disabled. How do I get by this issue? I even tried setting it up as a Master drive and it still won't work. It already has an operating system on it so it should've run properly. Any ideas?

If I leave the hard drive plugged in, the pc doesn't boot. It crashes and tries to reboot and that never works. Yes it has information on there that I would like to retrieve.
