Hard Drive Wont turn off after Running UTORRENT

Oh no!! Now I've finally done it.... I have finally attracted some sort of hacker or something.

After running a new program called UTORRENT all night. After restarting the next morning I have noticed my hard drive light. It is solid green all the time, usually only turning when accessing hard drive.

Is a hacker on my computer?
From the available programs on Major Geeks. What programs let me SEE exactly WHO is on my computer or accessing it?

Please HELP!@~!

Disconnect your cable from the internet!
Power off your computer.
Restart your computer (cable still unplugged).
Is the hard drive still being accessed?
Uninstall Utorrent.
Connect your cable to the internet.
How are things working?

Sry fer the delayed reply, I was reformatting and just wanted to be safe.

I did your method as described, However when cable unplugged HD Light still is on steady. Then uninstalled ut with cable out and light still on.

Heres the interesting thing...

Reformat of C: physical drive worked. However like a stupid person I reinstalled Utorrent with the latest version and guess what? HD light is now stable GREEN again.

Am I just doomed to have a stable green HD light after installing U TORRENT?

I can only say two things:

- don't use UTorrent
- this is not a malware forum related issue
