And it doesnt happen for those games. It keeps getting worse now i am getting blue screens and now when i boot up it says video mode not supported for about 5 seconds then it will start up normally? im really confused and have no idea wahts wrong

I'm stumped, shooting into the dark here but try newer nvidia display drivers? and WoW can also be pretty graphics intensive (more so then CS:S or HL2 depending ont he settings)

Also disable all addon's if you have them, EX: Cosmos, Gatherer ect, you can do this by removing them from the addon's folder.

I was getting major thrashing on my computer as well, similar configurations, I come out of game and my machine takes forever to restore. Put another gig of ram in and all was fine. Cant promise it will work for you, but it might.

The sacastic answer is to play a better game, like Freecell or Pong.

What kind of connection have you got? Dial-up? Broadband? Or are you connecting through a wireless or lan? Have you got firewalls and anti-viruses running that could be catching outgoing information and locking the game?
