This is probably a very basic question, but I don't know the answer to it. Is there a program or some other means of finding out what is going on in my computer from the time I turn it on until the icons show up on my screen? Seems like this amount of time gets longer and longer. Currently it takes over 2 minutes to get to my icons.

WinPatrol will identify auto loading programs and may help. Decrappifier is another utility that may be of use. Also make sure your case is clean and your CPUs heatsink is clear from dust.
