Has IE7 final been released?

The front page lists IE7 final as being available for download, but the Microsoft link points to the RC1 release.

So has it or has it not actually been released?

 

If RC1 is still available for download, then the Final Version is not out yet

 

I dunno...maybe Microsoft hasnt made it available for download yet?

 

You teases . It says Final and all I get is RC1 .

 

I got the final from the link, but I did already have RC1 installed. It uninstalled RC1 and replaced it with the final version.

Heh heh. I can always count on MajorGeeks to roll out HOT software and updates...oftentimes faster and easier than the authors. In this case, even ahead of Windows and Microsoft Updates and Automatic Updates. Thanks Major Attitude and all the others for the services and products you provide.

 

i was looking up info on ie7 on google and several sites said ms isnt gonna send out ie7 as a crital update till november

is that true

 

Got it and its pretty sweet. Seems very responsive and fast overall which is one of the main reasons I havent used IE for at least 3 years now...tabs being another major reason. Opera still seems faster and Firefox, while still a bit clunky feeling, is so customizable. If IE7 approaches Firefox as far as Plugins and extensions and skins MS may have gotten me back.

I went to the IE7 download at Majorgeeks, but clicked on the MS link because I wanted to check it out a little first. So I ended up downloading it from the IE7 site.
