Ok I do not know where this question actually goes on this board, but since I was searching for spyware and whatever I am asking it here.

I was deleting some things off of my add/remove programs in control panel that didn't belong. I came across about 25 or so things title "Windows XP Hotfix - KB8967" all with different numbers. What are these "programs" and what should I do about them?

The are reversable components that you downloaded thru windows update. Some updates can be 'uninstalled', this is how you do it, if say you found something wasn't working after you updated windows. :)

Yeah in the service pack 2 that is coming out this Mon. I believe you can have the option to hide windows updates.
