Have I lost Memory Card Reader Drivers?

    All of a sudden I was not able to read cards on my combination floppy drive and built in memory card reader. I was wondering if I lost my drivers somehow? Any suggestions as to what I should check. The drive itself seems to know there is a card on it as the light comes on when I put the card in. Up until the time it stopped working everything seemed to be fine.
