   I remember reading about a website that offers several different anti virus programs that it uses to check your computer for viruses. It apparently downloads these programs to your computer and then checks your computer with them for viruses. Anyone else here of this?

   Sure, we used to use them here as well. Every antivirus provider offers one. I have a few favorites based on the companies reputation:
