Having media problems!!

    Everytime I try to watch anything off the net and half the time i try to watch anything on my computer I get the "error report" and my browser or any media player closes out. This only happens with movies/videos. I have ran every virus scanner I can get my hands on and every spyware removal tool I can find and nothing has fixed it yet. What can this be and how do I fix it??

    Windows XP Home, Slim Browser, wmp/creative media source player. It happens with any form of video media and all browsers.
