hd dilema

    so what is the best way to recover data from a 2.5 sata that spins is sensed by pc but will not show up as device with removable storage. cannot run recovery software on it because its not seen. does freezing it really work? dont wanna pay big buck for recovery service any ideas? thx.:confused
