This is a HD question. For about a week or so my internal SATA Seagate HD continuously cycles, searches whatever you want to call it as if it's searching for something from the moment it's on until shutoff. It never stops though, it is very annoying and I imagine it's not doing the HD any good. I tried defrag, shutting off some startup through MSconfig but no change. I use Vista. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

Seagate Barra hard drives are having a 30-50% faile rate at the moment there is a fix on the seagate web site this might help you goodluck.
