I have a headset that worked before I reinstalled Windows XP, and the microphone on it doesn't work now. It records whatever is coming out of my speakers. I tried changing it in control panel to my microphone, and the only option if REaltek AC'97, which records my speakers. It's a Yapster headset that comes with no drivers, you're supposed to just plug it in and it'll work. Any help appreciated.

EDIT: Fixed this. I had to select line-in in the audio effects program from Control Panel.
