Help -Can't Remember Background Shutdown Program Name

Greetings Geeks.

Awhile back I remember downloading, installing, and running a program that shuts down unwanted program files, even those not visible from the processes menu. I want to say it was designed specifically for games. I did not get to use it much due to the fact I upgraded shortly after I installed it.

I know there must be more than a few, but can anyone make some suggestions or point me to a specific place? My quick search revealed came up empty. Going to search more now.
