Help finishing off

If you have run ALL the steps in the READ & RUN ME sticky, you need to attach the two logs from step 6 (must be run and attached prior to using HijackThis) and then properly install and run HJT and attach a HJT log per step 7 of the READ ME.

 

Deleted those logs I'm afraid as they still ahd important items we advise you not to have running when producing a HiJackThis log as in Multiple IE windows open, Winword, Excel etc running, the location of HijackThis was also not as specified in the guide here http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=74216 I know these seem petty things and I'm not insuting your intelligence but all this helps to remove any issues smoothly and these are tried and tested methods.

So to speed up the process please so follow the guide and attach via the method shown the logs

 

But even worse......where is the require Bitdefender and Panda logs from step 6. Looks like step 6 was not run. And we do not need multiple HJT logs. We only need one after all of the READ ME has been completed.

 

Just to be clear.... what you are to do is the below.

• Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
• Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

• After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:

• When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
  • Bitdefender
  • Panda Scan
  • HijackThis
