help me chose Hard Drive

Which of the following 8mb/7200/120Gb hard drives is the best quality.

Seagate

Maxtor

Western Digital

 

i've never personally used western digital but seagate and maxtor have always given me good results. if you want MY honest opinion, there will be people that may agree or disagree with me out there, but i have personally found maxtor the better of the two but thats just from my experience.

 

I have been very pleased with the DiamondMax series of Maxtor drives. I am running 2 of them now (60 and 80 gig).

My experience with larger Seagate drives is limited.

 

i use all 3 types in sizes for 40 -200 and they all seem to be just as good

maxtor [EAZY jumper setup i love that]

seagate [only one con they get hot more then the other brands

western digital [i like them very much for the over 120gb and there jumper set up is nice to

[i always use dual 60mm fan HDD coolers on all my drives
