Help me get rid of http://iehomepages.com/

    http://iehomepages.com/ has taken over my home page and locked things up. I am a new member so thanks in advance for all your help!

    I have followed the "Read & Run me first" instructions to the letter.... now I have followed by a load of HijackThis and have posted my first log attachment.

    What now?

    We will also need the other logs to gain a full picture of whats affecting your PC, Hijackthis on its own will not highlight all malware.

    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:
      • CounterSpy - ONLY IF you were not able to run Windows Defender
      • Bitdefender - from step 6
      • Panda Scan - from step 6
      • runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
      • newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
