Help Mine XP get rebooted by itself

hi
have mine XP pro gets rebooted by itself all the time
have already tried reinstalling but still same problem

can anyone recommend a website to download SP1 and SP2
or any other updates. Mine Windows is in its raw form btw.


using Kaspersky Anti Virus and Ewido sercurity Guard

If you wish to upgrade your XP pro, try windows update. Simply start internet explorer, then click on the TOOLS menu, then WINDOWS UPDATE.

From there it should be self explanatory.

Also, posting the location of the minidump is nice, but if you could post "as an attachment" the minidump file itself (Mini111205-01.dmp), either I or someone else could help you in your situation.

well its not that i don't want to download but .........

I think i managed to arrest the problem by installing AVAST Anti-Virus.
Kaspersky is not updated enough for the Trojan virus i encounted.

Will keep the thread updated if i get the Reboot Case again.

BTW i can't upload the minidmp filez the forum says its a invalid filez
