Help needed to Join mpg videos of my Sony Handycam

    Hi guys,

    I desperately need a software to join the mpg files of my Sony Handycam. I used Windows movie maker, but the output is a diminished quality video. Morover, the mpg files are converted into wmv files by the moviemaker. Wonder thats the reason.

    Anyways... Can someone suggest a good video joiner to join mpg files into one and also, not lose on quality!

    PLEASE HELP!!!

    have you tried to save the windows movie maker files as something of better quality?

    Nope. But, the software isnt meant for avi files. I need something free and robust for AVI videos...
