Help removing malware - computer 2

Using the great guides and help here, the first computer I cleaned runs great. On to number 2.

"Read and run me first" is completed and the files are attached.

Your log looks good, what problems are you having?

 

Actually, this computer is not running bad. I decided to run these procedures on all my computers and then follow the steps to prevent future malware.

The scans found and cleaned up quite a few items.

I will remove that line with HJT. Otherwise, this one looks clean now?

Yes, it looks clean, I would however recommend your running CCleaner just to clean any junk/temp files.

 

I will run it again. I did run it as part of the initial steps.

Another question. I have 5 users on this computer. It looks like CCleaner removes junk for the user logged on, but not for others. Is there a way to remove for all users with one login? Does the Administrator account access all user's cookies, temps etc? When I log on with my user name with administrator rights, it doesn't seem to clear the other accounts.

 

CCleaner only cleans the user account it's ran under. The program CleanUp! 4.0 will clean all accounts no matter which one it's ran under.

If you have more than one account, it's best to clean each account as they have different files and settings.

 

When I ran CCleaner during the cleanup, I did log on to each user account.
