I wasn't sure where to put this so here it goes.

Well a couple of days ago I was hacked, and well me and that hacker exchanged words back and forth in notepad. Despite his childish threats he only managed to make my screen blink, and send me a bunch of gay porn. I immediately started task manager and closed any suspicious programs, services, and processes. After closing a program called "IE Crasher" his "tweaking" (for a lack of a better word) stopped. Since then I have reformatted my computer, reinstalled all the drives including the operating systems, set up a router, changed my ip (well actually I'm not completely sure it changed still in the process with my isp), and purchased a security suite. Despite my efforts or getting "off the radar" my security suite has blocked not 1, not 2, but 435 hacker attempts. So my question is "How do you get your computer off the radar". Although receiving reports of blocked hacker attempts is a clear indication that my security suite is working. I'm fully aware that if a hacker is determined to get into your CPU ...it's only a matter of time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

That is why you purchased a security suite! So that it can block the attempts. Without the protection you would have problems. With the protection, they are being blocked. This is normal behavior.

By adding a router and a security suite, you have taken the first couple of very important steps. Additional tips can be found in the link down below.

Unlikely if you follow ALL of the instructions in the below and you practice safe surfing. If you use P2P or torrent downloaders or access questionable sites, then you are the one opening the door for hacker. Equate this to parking your car in an unsafe neighborhood but also leaving the car running and the doors unlocked! ;)
